DUI

A 21-year-old male, of Emmaus, was suspected of driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Willow Lane near Sauerkraut Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 12:46 a.m. April 24, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 29-year-old male, of Walnutport, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the 5200 block of Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:37 a.m. Feb. 25, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 57-year-old male motorist, of Allentown, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop near the intersection of South Cedar Crest Boulevard and Fish Hatchery Road, Lower Macungie Township, 9:21 p.m. March 31, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 41-year-old male motorist, of Macungie, allegedly was found to be driving under the influence along Berwyn Lane, Lower Macungie Township, after a traffic stop 1:51 a.m. April 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A motorist who was hurt in a one vehicle crash into a utility pole near the intersection of Limeport Pike and Bell Gate Road, Lower Milford Township, 8:39 p.m. March 26, was allegedly driving under the influence, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Simple assault

A male suspect, of Perth Amboy, N.J., allegedly threw a glass bottle at a vehicle at Movie Tavern, 6150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 12:30 a.m. March 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. According to video evidence, the glass bottle broke and a piece of that glass struck the head of a person standing near the vehicle, cutting the person’s left temple. The vehicle windshield also was damaged by the bottle, according to authorities. The suspect, who fled the scene, faces charges of alleged simple assault, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and harassment, according to authorities.

Retail theft

Someone removed approximately $2,000 in merchandise from Ulta Beauty, North Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, April 22, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Accident

A motorist was hurt when his vehicle went into a yard near the intersection of Lower Macungie Road and Hidden Valley Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:03 p.m. April 20, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The vehicle was traveling east on Lower Macungie Road when the motorist missed the turn onto Hidden Valley Road and allegedly turned onto the lawn of a residence in the 4900 block where the vehicle struck a large bush on the property. The driver complained of neck and leg pain and was taken by ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. Cetronia Ambulance Corps and Stew’s Tire Center also responded.

Burglary

Two dirt bikes were removed from a resident’s garage along Dillingersville Road, Lower Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 3:22 a.m. March 9 and the dirt bikes are described as a 2016 green Kawasaki and 2012 blue Yamaha.

Someone entered Dunkin’ Donuts, 4777 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, through a takeout window and allegedly removed $1,400 cash between 2:26 a.m. and 5:34 a.m. March 19, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Theft of a motor vehicle

A resident of Salem Drive, Upper Milford Township, learned his vehicle was stolen from outside his residence after seeing home surveillance footage of three people drive up to his home, enter the vehicle through an unlocked door and use the keys in the vehicle to drive it away around 4:13 a.m. March 22, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The alleged thieves later were involved in a crash on Interstate 80 in Patterson, N.J. and fled the accident scene, according to authorities.

Attempted vehicle theft

State troopers came upon five juveniles attempting to take a vehicle from a location in the 6100 block of Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 5:37 p.m. Feb. 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Disturbance/noise complaint

A 29-year-old male, of Wescosville, allegedly refused to turn his music down at a location along Wedge Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 5:11 p.m. March 17, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. A disorderly conduct citation was filed, according to authorities.

Theft by deception

A resident of Periwinkle Drive, Lower Macungie Township, learned someone attempted to open a T-Mobile account in the resident’s name, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. T-Mobile denied the account. The incident was reported March 20.

A resident of Pembroke Drive, Lower Macungie Township, learned someone attempted to open a bank account in the resident’s name, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported March 19 and the bank closed the account.

Multiple purchases using fraudulent credit card information were made at Wehrung’s Lumber and Home Center, 3180 Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, between March 2 and March 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A resident of Crown Lane, Lower Milford Township, sent $1,000 to a person posing as technical support for a social media site to have his account secured after it was hacked Feb. 28, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Attempted theft

A resident of Trafalgar Drive, Lower Macungie Township, was asked to provide personal banking information to someone posing as a an interviewer when the resident was applying for a job through a social media site, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported March 15.

Simple trespass

A 34-year-old female, of Green Lane, allegedly was trespassing at a location in the 5000 block of Churchview Road, Upper Milford Township, March 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Theft from vehicle

A catalytic converter, valued at $1,200, was removed from a Ford F-450 pickup truck at a location along Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported March 3 by Still Waters Ground Maintenance, according to authorities.

A resident of Shimerville Road, Upper Milford Township, learned $20 in cash and an unknown amount of coins were removed from his vehicle while it was parked at his residence between 1 a.m. and 4:15 a.m. March 22, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The resident found personal items in the grass at the front of his home and that compartments in his vehicle had been searched. The vehicle had been left unlocked, according to authorities.

Criminal mischief

A vehicle was damaged at a residence along Jasper Road, Lower Macungie Township, March 16, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A gray splatter pattern was found on and around the front window of a residence on Sweet Meadow Court, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported March 27.

Lost property

A Pennsylvania license plate was reported as lost or stolen at a location on Pioneer Drive, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The plate went missing sometime between March 10 and March 15, according to authorities.

Phone scam

A resident of Springridge Drive East, Lower Macungie Township, told police of a theft through a phone scam March 27, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
