Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

MARCH 24

Suspicious activity in the 200 block of East Second Street was reported.

Traffic stops were conducted at West 21st and Canal streets, at West 17th and Railroad streets and at Held Drive and Cherryville Road.

A neighbor complaint in the 1500 block of Poplar Street was addressed.

MARCH 25

Traffic stops were conducted at East 19th Street and Washington Avenue and at Cherryville Road and Held Drive.

A juvenile problem in the 900 block of Main Street was reported.

A reportable accident, involving two vehicles, in the 1700 block of Main Street had police at the scene.

At East 20th Street and Laubach Avenue, officers responded to a suspicious vehicle report.

MARCH 26

Traffic stops were conducted at East Second Street and Howertown Road, in the 1700 block of Canal Street, at Main and King streets, on West Ninth Street, at East 21st Street and Washington Avenue, in the 300 and 1600 blocks of Main Street and the unit block of Bridge Street.

Criminal mischief - a tire of a legally parked vehicle was slashed - was investigated in the 300 block of East 10th Street.

MARCH 27

Officers assisted a female in the 2000 block of Center Street and Coplay police in the 200 block of Chestnut Street, Coplay.

An unlocked, legally parked vehicle was reportedly entered in the 900 block of Howertown Road. A tan drawstring purse with $25 in it, a gray winter jacket and a leather jacket were taken.

Police checked on the welfare of a female in the 1800 block of Line Alley.

A bank account fraud investigation was conducted in the 300 block of Anthony Drive.

A disturbance in the 1300 block of Stewart Street was investigated.

A male shoplifting at Redner’s Quick Shoppe, 33 W. 21st St., was reported.

MARCH 28

Police checked on the welfare of a female in the 2300 block of Main Street.

Traffic stops were conducted in the unit block of West 21st Street and at Lerchenmiller Drive and Main Street.

In the 1200 block of Newport Avenue, a domestic dispute took place.

Officers responded to a juvenile issue in the 300 block of East Eighth Street.

MARCH 29

Officers assisted Lehigh Township police in the 300 block of Pepper Drive, Lehigh Township.

Traffic stops were conducted at West 21st and Canal streets, at Main and East 16th streets and in the 1500 and 2100 blocks of Main Street.

A juvenile issue was addressed in the 900 block of Main Street.

Police checked on the welfare of a male at Ridge Alley and East 18th Street.

A hit and run occurred in the 2200 block of Main Street. A legally parked vehicle was struck, damaging the rear bumper.

In the unit block of East Seventh Street, a report of a protection-from-abuse violation had police at the scene.

MARCH 30

Traffic stops were conducted at East Seventh and Main streets, at West Ninth and Main streets, in the 2400 block of Main Street, the unit block of West 21st Street and at Hokendauqua Avenue and East 21st Street.

A reportable accident, involving two vehicles, took place in the 1900 block of Laubach Avenue.

An intoxicated male in the 1900 block of Center Street was reported.

Police checked on the welfare of a female in the 1700 block of Main Street.

MARCH 31

Traffic stops were conducted in the 1900 block of Laubach Avenue and the unit block of West 21st Street.

A neighbor complaint in the 1700 block of Main Street was addressed.

Officers responded to a juvenile issue in the 1600 block of Laubach Avenue.

APRIL 1

Officers assisted a female in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

A neighbor complaint in the 1700 block of Main Street was reported.

A male shoplifting at Rite Aid, 1620 Main St., was investigated.

Police checked on the welfare of a male in the 600 block of East 10th Street.

Suspicious activity in the 1200 block of Newport Avenue was reported.

A suspicious person in the 1800 block of Washington Avenue had police at the scene.

APRIL 2

A neighbor complaint in the 1200 block of Newport Avenue was addressed.

At West 21st and Canal streets, a traffic stop was conducted.

In the 1600 block of Main Street, a juvenile issue was investigated.

Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1300 block of Vienna Street.

A suspicious male in the 600 block of Buckingham Drive was reported.

In the 100 block of West 14th Street, a domestic dispute occurred.

An unattended death in the 1700 block of Hokendauqua Avenue was investigated.

APRIL 3

A traffic stop at Cherryville Road and Held Drive was conducted.

In the 300 block of Bendelow Lane, a suspicious female was investigated.

Officers responded to a juvenile problem in the 1400 block of Laubach Avenue.

Suspicious males in the 1600 block of Newport Avenue and the 600 block of East 20th Street were investigated.

Police assisted a female in the 700 block of Washington Avenue.

A civil matter in the 700 block of Washington Avenue was addressed.
