Student volunteers needed for Macungie Flea Market

The Interact Club is seeking volunteers for the Macungie Flea Market. Event setup will occur 4-5 p.m. May 11 at Macungie Memorial Park, involving measurement and stake placement for vendors. Event cleanup will occur 1-3 p.m. May 13 at Macungie Memorial Park, involving trash collection and stake removal. There are no weather provisions for either event. The Emmaus High School Spring Choir Concert will be held 7 p.m. May 11 in the EHS Auditorium. Visit @ehschoraldepartment on Instagram for details.

Now through May 12, EHS will administer Advanced Placement testing, open to all students who purchased exams in November. The date, time and location of each exam are available on students’ “Class of” Schoology page. With questions related to course content, students must contact their teachers. A reminder to the Class of 2024: Junior prom will be held 6-10 p.m. May 13 at DeSales University’s Billera Hall. However, doors open 5:30 p.m. This event is for students with pre-purchased tickets only.

For an end-of-year party, Habitat for Humanity will host a meeting after school May 16 in Room 513.

The Literature Keystone Exam will be administered May 15-16, the Algebra Keystone Exam will be administered May 18-19 and the Biology Keystone Exam will be administered May 23-24. All students required to take a Keystone exam have been mailed personalized letters with testing schedules. For study tips, visit the EHS announcements website, where resource documents are linked. Passage of Keystone exams can meet Pennsylvania graduation requirements via Act 158.
