A New Tripoli teen has died after branches from a tree he was cutting in East Penn Township fell on him on April 6.

Carbon County Coroner Robert Miller said Ryan Schock, 19, was pronounced dead at 10:45 a.m.

Schock was a 2022 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School.

Miller said the cause of death was traumatic injuries.

Miller said Schock’s boss attempted to revive him with CPR.

Mahoning Valley Ambulance was the first on the scene, Miller said.
