WEISENBERG, LOWHILL: Morgenland Church having hoagie sale fundraiser

Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, is accepting orders until March 26 for its hoagie sale.

Choose from regular with everything, no peppers, no onions with peppers, no onions or peppers, ham and cheese, turkey, roast beef with no onions or peppers, tuna, or veggie.

Ingredients supplied by Thomson’s Meat Market, Walnutport.

Pickup is April 4 at the church.

They will host the Good Egg Food Truck from 10 a.m. to noon April 2.

The annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place at 1 p.m. April 8.

There will be hot dogs, chips, and drinks for sale before and after the egg hunt.

Christ’s Church at Lowhill, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, New Tripoli, will have free community Easter Bunny Breakfast and Egg Hunt on April 1.

Breakfast will be from 9-11 a.m. with fun crafts and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

All ages are welcome to attend.

Egg hunt will take place at 11:15 a.m. Bring along a basket.

Weisenberg Lutheran Church, 7645 Weisenberg Church Road, New Tripoli, will have a Community Day fundraiser with crafters and vendors from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 1.

Enjoy lunch at Vince’s Cheesesteaks Food Truck from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There will also be an all-day bake sale.

A few tables are still available for any crafters or vendors who would like to participate.

All proceeds will benefit Disaster Relief.

Weisenberg Township will have an electronics recycling day 9-11 a.m. or until the truck is full on April 8 at the Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Company, 2500 Golden Key Road, Kutztown.

This event is for Weisenberg Township residents only with identification.

Residents must stay in their vehicles.

Hoagie pickup will take place 2:30-6 p.m. April 6 at the fire station.
