By LOU WHEELAND

Special to The Press

Cetronia Elementary School was the scene of a very energetic Eagles Pep Rally on Feb. 10.

“Eagle” Tom Gearhart of Newtown brought his highly decorated tailgating van for the students to view.

Cetronia Elementary Principal Dr. Jamie Giaquinto and Gearhart were roommates at Shippensburg University, hence the connection.

Students were entertained by the Fifth Grade Brass Ensemble and members of the Parkland High School Dance Team.

Also making an appearance was “Hedgie the Hedgehog,” the Cetronia Elementary School mascot.
