Roughies Report: CHS students advance to states

Congratulations to two Catasauqua High School/Lehigh Career & Technical Institute students who qualified for the Pennsylvania Future Business Leaders of America competition - Tyler Rivera, first place in network design-team (web design/web programming), and Gavin Cunningham, second place in computer problem solving (computer networking technology) - based on their performance at the regional FBLA contest, held virtually throughout January and February. The state competition will be held April 16-19 in Hershey.

More than 5,000 FBLA members from across the commonwealth are expected to gather at the conference for skills workshops and showdowns.

Catasauqua Area School District is looking to hire high school students willing to work five hours a day for a four-day workweek for the buildings and grounds department. Interviews will be held during school hours the week of March 27.
