A 40-year-old male, of Zionsville, was arrested for driving under the influence and reckless endangerment after he allegedly intentionally drove his vehicle into another vehicle multiple times in a field near the intersection of Powder Valley Road and Palm Road, Lower Milford Township, 11:35 p.m. Jan. 2, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 24-year-old male, of Macungie, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Sauterne Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 9:15 p.m. Dec. 28, 2022, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 24-year-old male, of Trexlertown, was allegedly driving under the influence after state troopers were called for a vehicle parked in a traffic lane near the intersection of South Krocks Road and Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:44 a.m. Dec. 26, 2022, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist allegedly was asleep in the driver seat of the vehicle.

A 24-year-old male, of Hamburg, allegedly was driving under the influence at the intersection of Main Street and North Second Street, Emmaus borough, 1:53 a.m. Dec. 26, 2022, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 42-year-old male, of Allentown, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the intersection of Minesite Road and Shuler Street, Lower Macungie Township, 12:18 a.m. Dec. 31, 2022, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 61-year-old male, of Coopersburg, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the intersection of High Street and Sycamore Street, Lower Macungie Township, 2:35 a.m. Jan. 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 37-year-old male, of Allentown, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the intersection of Chestnut Street and James Street, Upper Milford Township, 8:40 p.m. Dec. 24, 2022, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 25-year-old male, of Emmaus, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the intersection of Gehman Road and Scenic View Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 2:27 a.m. Nov. 19, 2022, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Retail theft

A 27-year-old female, of Allentown, was charged with alleged retail theft at Nordstrom Rack, 750 N. Krocks Road, Suite 303, Lower Macungie Township, 3:01 p.m. Dec. 12, 2022, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Two people allegedly attempted to leave Giant Food Stores, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, without paying for merchandise valued at $663.88, including frozen food, health and beauty products and meat, Dec. 23, 2022, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 61-year-old male, of Macungie, allegedly removed approximately $237 worth of merchandise from Weis Markets, 3440 Grandview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between Sept. 14 and Nov. 18, 2022, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The suspect allegedly placed items into bags without scanning the items in numerous incidents, according to authorities.

Harassment

A 33-year-old male, of Macungie, allegedly grabbed a person by the face and shoved the person at a location on Aster Circle, Lower Macungie Township, 8:51 p.m. Dec. 25, 2022, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Criminal mischief

A gate and lock were damaged at a location on Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, between 3:30 p.m. Dec. 15 and 10:53 a.m. Dec. 16, 2022, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Someone let the air out of the tires of a vehicle parked in the 6100 block of Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Dec. 3, 2022.

Scam

A resident of Blue Heather Court, Lower Macungie Township, was swindled out of $9,700 in a credit card scam, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Nov. 28, 2022.

Accident

A 39-year-old motorist, of Macungie, was slightly hurt when his car overturned in a one-vehicle crash along Sweetwood Drive, Upper Milford Township, 10:47 a.m. Dec. 15, 2022, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The vehicle was traveling south on Sweetwood Drive when the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck an embankment. The vehicle then overturned, according to authorities. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle on his own but sustained minor injuries.

Theft from vehicle

A cellphone was removed from a vehicle while it was parked in the 4900 block of Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 5 a.m. Dec. 29, 2022, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The cellphone was located and recovered and a juvenile suspect was charged, according to authorities.

A catalytic converter, valued at $650, was removed from a Ford van parked at a location on Ramer Road, Upper Milford Township, between 5 p.m. Nov. 23 and 6:44 a.m. Nov. 28, 2022, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Theft

A package was removed from a porch at a location on Lexington Circle, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Dec. 2, 2022.

A wallet containing $43 cash was removed from a purse when it was left unattended in a shopping cart at Giant Food Stores, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, Nov. 22, 2022, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Drug possession

An 18-year-old male, of Alburtis, allegedly had marijuana and associated drug paraphernalia at a traffic stop at the intersection of Scenic View Drive and Iron Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 2:23 a.m. Dec. 18, 2022, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 20-year-old male, of Alburtis, allegedly had marijuana and associated drug paraphernalia at a location near Scenic View Drive and Stack Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:19 a.m. Dec. 19, 2022, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Burglary

A residence along Aster Road, Lower Macungie Township, was broken into through a rear sliding door between 4:30 and 8:15 p.m. Jan. 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Public drunkenness

A 56-year-old male, of Breinigsville, was cited for alleged public drunkenness after state troopers conducted a welfare check at a location on Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 4:24 p.m. Nov. 6, 2022, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Theft of motor vehicle

State police investigators determined four all-terrain vehicles were removed from Blackmans Cycle Center, 4911 Buckeye Road, Upper Milford Township, between 7 p.m. Nov. 13 and 7 a.m. Nov. 14, 2022, after one unoccupied ATV was found in the area of Chestnut Street and Mill Road, Upper Milford Township, 7:14 a.m. Nov. 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The stolen vehicles included a blue 2022 ATV, a black 2022 ATV, a green 2023 ATV and a black 2023 ATV.
