Zachary Billie, of Coplay, was among a group of civil engineering students at Widener University, Chester, who traveled to Florida during their spring break in connection with their senior project as of March 14, 2022.
The project focused on development of an installation and environmental assessment manual for underground refuse containers.
The group dropped by BayCare Ballpark, the Phillies’ spring training stadium in Clearwater, Fla., where they viewed waste containers for which they were preparing an installation manual.
Billie was expected to graduate in May 2022.
