Catasauqua police

Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

DEC. 8

A 23-year-old male, of Allentown, was arrested in the 100 block of Race Street for driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance, accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property and careless driving.

In the 100 block of Race Street, a hit and run occurred. The vehicle was located.

A mental health issue involving a juvenile at Catasauqua High School, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton, was investigated.

Harassment charges were filed against a 15-year-old male for fighting at Catasauqua High School, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton.

Police conducted a public service - juvenile transport - at Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St.

Officers assisted Whitehall police at Municipal Drive and Lehigh Street.

A wanted person in the 100 block of Church Street was reported. Additional charges are pending, the department said.

DEC. 9

A parking complaint at American and Mulberry streets was addressed. The vehicle was ticketed.

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers at Green Street and Howertown Road.

DEC. 10

An issue between a landlord and tenant took place in the 700 block of Railroad Street.

Officers assisted Allentown police in the 300 block of Church Street.

DEC. 11

Police assisted Coplay officers at Bridge and North Front streets during a vehicle stop.

Parking complaints in the 300 block of Church Street and the 300 block of Liberty Street were investigated.

A civil matter in the 500 block of Front Street had police at the scene.

DEC. 12

During a vehicle stop at Bridge and Front streets, a verbal warning was issued.

A welfare check was conducted at Howertown Road and Pine Street; a traffic citation was filed for title 75, section 1543, the department said.

Animal complaints were investigated in the 200 block of South Front Street, which was referred to an animal control officer, and in the 300 block of Union Street, where a dog was found.

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., a custody issue had police at the scene.

DEC. 13

Vehicles were ticketed in the 700 block of Limestone Street due to parking violations.

At Second and Willow streets, a juvenile complaint was addressed.

A fight occurred at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road. It is under investigation.

Police checked on a student in the 500 block of Bath Avenue.

A nonfatal overdose took place in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

DEC. 14

A traffic violation occurred in the 100 block of Pine Street, with a verbal warning issued.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1300 block of Woodmont Lane, North Catasauqua.

A reportable motor vehicle accident occurred at Lehigh and Main streets. There were no injuries reported.

A claim of alleged child endangerment in the 100 block of South Front Street was reported to the department. The case was referred to Lehigh County Children and Youth.

Juveniles fighting at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road, were reported.

At Front and Pine streets, a welfare check was conducted.

Officers assisted Children and Youth in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

DEC. 15

An animal complaint in the 500 block of East Wood Street was investigated.

In the 300 block of Church Street, a verbal domestic disturbance had police at the scene.

A burglar alarm sounded in the 900 block of Race Street.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1100 block of Front Street, North Catasauqua, and an outside agency in the 2100 block of MacArthur Road, Whitehall.
