Bath: Church plans holiday market

Christ United Church of Christ, 109 S. Chestnut St., is having a holiday market, planned for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 3.

Finish your holiday shopping with handmade and fresh goods from local vendors.

Minnie and Mickey will be available for holiday pictures, and dogs are welcome to join in on the fun.

Food, beverages and baked goods will be available.

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 206 E. Main St., is planning to hold its nursery school winter craft and vendor fair 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 3 in the fellowship hall.

There will be craft tables, popular vendors, raffle and food available.

Stop by the Bath Museum, 121 S. Walnut St., 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 3.

The Bath Area Community Chorus Christmas music festival will be held 4 p.m. Dec. 4 at St. John’s Lutheran Church.

All are invited to come and join us.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, invites all, especially youth group members, for Christmas caroling to its homebound members Dec. 11.

You can bring friends and family as well. All will gather 2:30 p.m. in fellowship hall to organize the routes and transportation. The group will be on the way by 3 p.m. The stockings are all prepared to be distributed.

Afterward, carolers will enjoy pizza and story sharing.

The Bath Area Food Bank will next distribute food Dec. 13, starting 9:30 a.m.

This takes place on the lower level of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church offers yoga by a certified instructor 5:30 p.m. Mondays.

Come on out and get in shape and share some camaraderie at this stressful time of year.

During the month of December, Emmanuel’s church will help the Bath Area Food Bank by collecting canned fruit, toilet paper, paper towels, canned yams/sweet potatoes and Stove Top stuffing.

There is also an ongoing need for Ramen noodles.

Donations can be dropped off in the bins in fellowship hall or the upstairs gathering area. Grocery gift cards - preferably Ahart’s - are needed for emergencies. Bring all gift cards in an envelope marked “food bank” to the church office.
