BETHLEHEM HALLOWEEN PARADE

Bethlehem’s 101st Halloween parade was held on a bright sunny Oct. 30 afternoon, with six divisions marching on West Broad Street to Main Street and down to Spring Street. The 2022 Halloween parade Marshal was former City Councilwoman Olga Negron. Schools, scouting troops, businesses, community organizations and many others participated. First place winners were Spring Garden ES, Cub Scout Pack #368, The Puppy Palace, Bethlehem Carriage Company, and Liberty HS Theatre Company. Special award winners were William Penn ES (Mayor’s award) and Marvine and Freemansburg elementary schools (Committee Award).

Calypso ES was one of the 16 BASD elementary schools participating in this year's parade.

Parade #6: Freedom HS was one of four high school bands marching. They were joined by Liberty's Grenadiers, the Bethlehem Catholic Golden Hawk Band and William Allen HS Canary Marching Band.
The Bethlehem Saints youth sports cheerleaders and players parade down West Broad Street.
The Liberty HS Theatre Company promoted their 2023 spring musical “How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying” and took home first place in the floats category to boot.
Dancers from Valley Dance perform on their way to a third place finish in the floats category. Their theme was “Alice in Wonderland.”
Cub Scout Pack 146 won third place in the scouting category.
Bumble bee Brenda Sciascia was part of the hive in BASD transportation's second place team in the float category.
