Theft

A black purse was stolen at the basketball courts at Lindberg Park, 2800 Lindberg Ave., according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Sept. 27.

A Salisbury resident told police her purse was stolen while she was at Produce Junction, MacArthur Road, Whitehall. She learned purchases were made using her card. The Salisbury resident’s driver’s license and other personal information also are missing. The incident was reported Sept. 27.

Simple possession

A 16-year-old male was charged Sept. 27 with alleged simple possession and use of tobacco products in schools prohibited following an incident at Salisbury Township High School, 500 E. Montgomery Ave., according to Salisbury police.

Fraud

A resident of the 900 block of Belford Road learned several fraudulent purchases were made using his credit union account information, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Oct. 3.

Identity theft

A resident of the 1900 block of Box Elder Road found out his medical insurance information was used at a pharmacy in Lancaster, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Sept. 30 and may be the result of a previous unemployment fraud issue recently experienced by the resident, according to authorities.

Community Justice panel

A 16-year-old male was referred to the Community Justice Panel Sept. 29 following an incident at Salisbury Township High School, 500 E. Montgomery Ave., according to Salisbury police.

Assist

Salisbury Township Police Department officers assisted the Eastern Salisbury Fire Department with a utility pole fire in the 1200 block of Salisbury Road Oct. 4, according to Salisbury police.

Fatal accident

A Bethlehem Township motorcyclist was fatally injured in a crash in the 1500 block of Seidersville Road Oct. 6, according to authorities. The driver was pronounced dead at the accident scene 9:18 p.m.

According to a news release from the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office, the cause of death was determined as multiple blunt force injuries due to an accident. The motorcyclist allegedly lost control of his motorcycle and struck a vehicle around 8:30 p.m.

The Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office is among investigating agencies, according to the news release.
