EHS names student of the week

Q. In what grade are you currently enrolled?

A. I am currently enrolled in 12th grade at Emmaus High School.

Q. Please provide the first names of your family members: parents, siblings and pets.

A. My parents are Mike and Jen and my younger brother is Kaden. We have one dog, Ben.

Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?

A. My favorite subject is science. I have always enjoyed the different science classes I have taken which has helped me figure out I want to continue to pursue a degree in health care after high school.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. I have received honor roll and high honor roll, as well as being a member of National Honor Society at EHS.

Q. Are you involved in any extracurricular activities? How has being involved in these organizations impacted your high school experience?

A. I am a part of the tennis team, Hornet Ambassadors, Habitat for Humanity, Key Club and Interact Club at Emmaus. Being involved in these activities has given me the opportunity to meet new people, help others and gain good experiences throughout high school.

Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?

A. One of my biggest challenges currently involves the college application process. It has been difficult to finalize where I want to apply to and find the schools that are a good fit.

Q. What is your next goal after high school?

A. My goals after high school include going to college to major in the health science field. I am currently thinking about the physician assistant or physical therapy track.

Q. Whom do you admire? Why?

A. I admire my parents most because of their hard work and determination. I have learned from both of them the importance of working hard and putting your best foot forward in anything you do.

Q. For what would you like to be remembered?

A. I would like to be remembered as a caring and compassionate person for others.

Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?

A. My biggest piece of advice would be to get involved and try as many new things as possible. It may open up new opportunities and experiences for you in the future.
