Celebrate fall at The Vine Church

BY SUSAN RUMBLE

Special to The Press

The Vine Church, 5229 Route 873, Schnecksville, invites the community to a fall festival noon to 3 p.m. Oct. 1.

Free food including hot dogs, popcorn, and cotton candy will be available. An ice cream truck will be present for one hour with free treats for all.

Attendees can sample soup for the annual soup cook off.

Inflatables and games with prizes will keep kids entertained.

A dunk tank with the pastors will give everyone a chance to have some fun.

Pastor Adam Kern reports the festival celebrates the anniversary of The Vine Church which started October 2016 with meetings at the Schnecksville Grange and later moved to the Agape Church building which is now its home.

Pastor Kern offered comments on the church’s growth.

“We’ve been thriving. We’ve been meeting new people nearly every week. We feel that God’s really been blessing us. It’s been an incredible journey.”

The Vine recently welcomed Associate Pastor Matt Breger as a member of the ministerial team.
