Special to The Press

Some 70 golfers enjoyed beautiful weather for the Northwestern Lehigh Education Foundation’s annual golf fundraiser on Aug. 12.

Each year, golfers gather at Olde Homestead Golf Club, New Tripoli, for breakfast, a four-person scramble, lunch and prizes.

The fundraiser this year raised more than $3,500 to help support the educational goals of the Northwestern Lehigh School District.

NWLEF is an independent organization that relies on funding through donations from businesses, parents, district residents, friends and the Northwestern Lehigh Alumni Association.

Registration for the education foundation’s next event, the Clay Shoot, is underway.

Details may be found at nwlef.org/clay-shoot.
