A hit and run took place in the 500 block of North 14th Street.

Parking complaints were investigated in the 100 block of Bridge Street and in the 200 block of Prospect Street.

Officers assisted Upper Nazareth police in the 600 block of Poplar Street, Catasauqua, and North Catasauqua police in the 1000 block of Fourth Street for a protection-from-abuse service.

Police conducted a security check in the 500 block of St. John Street.

JUNE 14

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1100 block of Third Street.

Traffic violations took place in the 500 block of Howertown Road, at Limestone and Pine streets and at Crane and Walnut streets.

Security checks were conducted in the 600 block of South 14th Street and the 500 block of St. John Street.

The department investigated a forgery/altered check/fraud case in the 900 block of Bridge Street.

Neighbor disputes occurred at two residences in the 300 block of Union Street.

JUNE 15

A suspicious person in the 300 block of Union Street was reported.

Police investigated a fraud case regarding a credit card in the 300 block of Church Street.

Officers assisted Allentown police in the 700 block of Second Street and Coplay police at North Seventh Street and Potter Alley.

A parking complaint in the 200 block of Front Street was addressed.

An overdose, involving alcohol and drugs, occurred in the 700 block of Second Street.

In the 500 block of St. John Street, a security check was conducted.

JUNE 16

In the unit block of South Front Street, a traffic violation occurred. A verbal warning was issued.

A domestic disturbance, with no arrests made, took place in the 700 block of Front Street.

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 700 block of Front Street.

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers at two residences in the 1100 block of Front Street.

Credit card fraud was investigated in the 200 block of Edward Lane.

At American and Mulberry streets, vehicles were ticketed.

A burglar alarm sounded at Catasauqua Area School District, 201 N. 14th St.

JUNE 17

A welfare check was conducted in the 300 block of Church Street.

In the 400 block of Race Street, a motor vehicle accident took place.

An animal complaint in the unit block of Lehigh Street was referred to animal control.

Officers investigated two motorbike complaints in the unit block of Cambridge Place.

JUNE 18

A domestic disturbance, with no arrests made, occurred in the 300 block of Church Street.

Officers assisted a citizen in the 300 block of Howertown Road and North Catasauqua police at the borough park, 701 Grove St., for a domestic dispute involving a protection-from-abuse order.

Traffic violations took place in the 200 block of North 14th Street, with a verbal warning issued, and the 500 block of Front Street, with a written warning issued.

JUNE 19

A security check was conducted in the 500 block of St. John Street.

Traffic violations occurred in the 100 block of Pine Street; at Howertown Road and Walnut Street, with a citation issued; and at Howertown Road and Bridge Street, with a citation issued.

Officers conducted a welfare check in the 100 block of Howertown Road.

Kian Deater, a 19-year-old male of Bethlehem, was arrested, involving charges of aggravated assault-deadly weapon, aggravated assault-extreme indifference, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, firearms not be carried without a license and possession of firearm prohibited, for shots fired at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St. A 17-year-old male, of Reading, was also involved, police said.

JUNE 20

A neighbor dispute in the 100 block of Second Street was reported.

In the 200 block of Poplar Street, officers investigated a fraudulent title of a vehicle.

Police assisted a citizen at Catasauqua Towers, 534 Third St.

The theft of a cellphone from a front porch in the 400 block of Faith Drive occurred.

JUNE 21

Officers assisted a citizen at Silver Manor, 2 Front St., and North Catasauqua police in the 1100 block of Front Street, with an alleged DUI.

A traffic violation took place in the unit block of Second Street, with the driver’s license seized.

A security check was conducted in the 500 block of St. John Street.

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., a disturbance involving a neighbor dispute had police at the scene.

JUNE 22

A noise complaint was addressed at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St.

Traffic violation occurred in the 800 block of Walnut Street and at Front and Willow streets.

A fire at Canal and Willow streets was investigated.

Officers responded to a custody issue at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St.

Warrant services were conducted in the 200 block of Peach Street and the 600 block of Bath Avenue.

Domestic disturbances occurred in the unit block of Cambridge Place and in the 500 block of Second Street, both with no arrests.

In the 200 block of Circle Drive, a scam phone call, involving fraud impersonations, was investigated.
