Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

MAY 31

Officers checked the area in the 1700 block of Laubach Avenue.

Police assisted females in the 1000 block of Main Street and the 1700 block of Franklin Street.

A child custody issue in the 1700 block of Main Street was addressed.

At Lerchenmiller Drive and Smith Lane, a report of a juvenile issue had police at the scene.

Trespassing at the Canal Street boat launch was reported.

A reportable accident involving two vehicles at Main and East 24th streets took place.

Officers checked on the welfare of a female in the 2400 block of Cherryville Road.

A protection-from-abuse violation in the 1700 block of Main Street took place.

Suspicious activity in the 1800 block of Washington Avenue was addressed.

JUNE 1

Traffic stops were conducted on East 23rd Street and in the 1000 and 1700 blocks of Main Street.

A domestic dispute between two males and a female occurred in the 2300 block of Main Street.

Two vehicles were involved in a reportable accident in the 1500 block of Laubach Avenue.

In the 200 block of Hollow Lane, a juvenile problem was investigated.

JUNE 2

At East 10th Street and Siegfried Avenue, police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle.

Traffic stops were conducted at East Fourth and Pearl streets, at Newport Avenue and West 13th Street, at East 10th and Main streets and in the 1400 block of Canal Street.

Suspicious activity in the 1200 block of Newport Avenue and the 1900 block of Main Street was reported.

Officers assisted males in the 100 block of East Fourth Street, the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue and the 1600 block of Newport Avenue.

JUNE 3

Police assisted a female in the 400 block of East Seventh Street.

A civil matter was addressed in the 1900 block of Washington Avenue.

A report of unemployment fraud was investigated in the 500 block of East 10th Street.

A traffic stop took place in the 400 block of East 10th Street.

JUNE 4

Suspicious activity in the 1400 block of Railroad Street, the unit block of West 21st Street and the 1500 block of Canal Street was reported.

A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 block of East Fourth Street.

Police checked on the welfare of a male in the 1800 block of Newport Avenue.

In the 1500 block of Poplar Street, a civil issue was investigated.

A report of a disturbance in the 100 block of East Fourth Street was filed with the department.

A male was taken into custody at Canal and West 14th streets for an active warrant out of Northampton County. He was transported to the station and released to the Northampton County Sheriff’s Department.

Officers responded to a fireworks complaint in the 800 block of Washington Avenue.

Police assisted a female in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

In the unit block of East 13th Street, a report of a loud party was investigated.

JUNE 5

Loud music in the 600 block of Walker Drive was reported.

Officers assisted females in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue and the 700 block of Main Street.

Traffic stops were conducted in the 200 block of East 21st Street, the 600 block of Main Street, at East Fifth Street and Howertown Road and at King and Main streets.

Domestic disputes between a male and a female took place in the 2200 block of Washington Avenue and the 1700 block of Line Alley.

A report of harassment in the 1900 block of Main Street was filed with the department.

Police responded to a neighbor complaint in the 800 block of Main Street.

Officers checked on the welfare of a male in the 1700 block of Main Street.

Disturbances in the unit block of East 18th Street and the 1500 block of Poplar Street were investigated.

Members of the department responded to a juvenile problem in the 2000 block of Center Street.

JUNE 6

Traffic stops were conducted in the 1600 block of Newport Avenue and at East Fourth Street and Howertown Road.

A civil matter in the 2000 block of Main Street was reported.

JUNE 7

A traffic stop was conducted in the 1400 block of Railroad Street.

At West 10th and Canal streets, a report of a suspicious vehicle was addressed.

A report of identity fraud in the 400 block of East Seventh Street was investigated.

Juvenile problems were reported in the 200 block of Hollow Lane, the 1700 block of Line Alley and the 900 block of Main Street.

Officers assisted a female in the 100 block of East 21st Street.

JUNE 8

Harassment in the 2800 block of West 28th Street was reported.

A civil matter in the 1500 block of Poplar Street was addressed.

Police assisted a female in the 1400 block of Laubach Avenue.

At West 21st and Center streets, a traffic stop was conducted.

JUNE 9

A suspicious male and female at West 21st and Canal streets was reported.

Officers investigated a harassment complaint in the 600 block of Main Street.

Police checked on the welfare of a female in the 2100 block of Lincoln Avenue.

Suspicious activity in the 800 and 1000 blocks of Main Street was addressed.

The department assisted Lehigh Township police in the 1200 block of Main Street.

JUNE 10

Suspicious activity in the 1200 block of Main Street was reported.

Traffic stops occurred in the 1000 block of Main Street, at Main and East 15th streets and at Washington Avenue and East 15th Street.

Sgt. Michael Buchanan and K-9 Vito conducted a search of a vehicle in the 1400 block of Laubach Avenue.

Officers checked on the welfare of a male in the 1000 block of Main Street.

A domestic dispute between a male and a female took place in the 1300 block of Stewart Street.
