Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

MAY 31

Harassment by communication, involving an issue between an ex-boyfriend and girlfriend, was addressed in the 300 block of Church Street.

Two vehicles were involved in a reportable motor vehicle accident in the 100 block of Pine Street.

JUNE 1

Burglary to a shed at Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua, 210 Pine St., was reported.

A 13-year-old female was cited for harassment at Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St.

At Pine and Railroad streets, a vehicle was ticketed due to a parking violation.

Electronics missing or stolen from the 700 block of Third Street was reported.

A security check was conducted in the 500 block of St. John Street.

JUNE 2

Officers conducted a check fraud investigation in the 300 block of Front Street.

Traffic violations occurred in the 400 block of Pine Street, with the driver cited, and at Fifth and Pine streets.

A report of a suspicious conversation at Innovative Arts Academy, 330 Howertown Road, was filed with the department.

In the 500 block of St. John Street, a security check was conducted.

JUNE 3

A vehicle was ticketed in the 700 block of Front Street due to a parking violation.

A dog missing from the 700 block of Fifth Street was reported.

Juvenile complaints in the 500 block of St. John Street were reported to police.

At Innovative Arts Academy, 330 Howertown Road, a juvenile acting out was addressed.

In the 700 block of Fifth Street, an animal complaint was investigated.

At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., officers conducted a welfare check.

JUNE 5

Domestic disturbances occurred in the 500 block of Race Street and the 300 block of Church Street.

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers in the 1300 block of Third Street and the 1100 block of Railroad Street.

Officers conducted a welfare check at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St.

A traffic citation was issued in the 300 block of Race Street.

JUNE 6

A noise complaint was investigated in the 400 block of Faith Drive.

At Bridge and Fairview streets, a traffic violation took place, with a citation issued.

An animal complaint was investigated in the area of St. John and Walnut streets. A bear was tranquilized and removed by Pennsylvania Game Commission.

Police responded to a report of criminal mischief - a vehicle keyed - in the 200 block of Main Street.

In the 100 block of South Front Street, a disturbance was addressed.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1100 block of Front Street.

JUNE 7

Traffic violations occurred at Union and Railroad streets and at Second and Union streets, with a written warning issued.

Animal complaints were investigated in the 100 block of Front Street regarding an ordinance violation of chickens and in the 600 Bethlehem Road for a bird in a house.

In the 500 block of Kurtz Street, a report of a mental health emergency was investigated.

Police assisted Allentown officers in the 200 block of Church Street.

Officers conducted a welfare check at Front and Mulberry streets.

Police conducted a security check in the 500 block of St. John Street.

JUNE 8

A vehicle was towed from Catasauqua Apartments, 118 Bridge St. The driver was cited.

Traffic violations occurred in the 400 block of Pine Street, with the driver cited; at Pine and Railroad streets, with the driver cited; in the 600 block of Front Street, with the driver cited and driver’s license seized; and at North 14th and Bridge streets, with the driver cited and vehicle towed.

The theft of a Nerf gun in the 500 block of St. John Street was reported.

Officers responded to a disturbance report at Silver Manor, 2 Front St.

In the 300 block of Howertown Road, a neighbor dispute in reference to public parking occurred.

A harassment complaint case at Catasauqua Apartments, 118 Bridge St., was investigated.

In the 300 block of Church Street, a domestic disturbance was addressed.

An assault that reportedly took place at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St., is under investigation.

JUNE 9

A driver was cited for a traffic ordinance violation in the 300 block of Pine Street.

In the 600 block of Front Street, a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend occurred.

Police conducted a security check in the 500 block of St. John Street.

Charges are pending in a harassment/threat incident that occurred in the 800 block of Faith Drive.

JUNE 10

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police in the 1100 block of Third Street, Pennsylvania State Police in the 1300 block of Third Street, North Catasauqua, and a citizen in the 700 block of Front Street.

A parking complaint in the 600 block of Front Street was addressed.

At Fourth and Pine streets, a tractor-trailer was rerouted.

Officers conducted a welfare check in the unit block of Lehigh Street.

Security checks were conducted in the 500 block of St. John Street.

In the 100 block of Church Street, a fatal overdose was investigated.

JUNE 11

Parking complaints were investigated in the 500 block of Front Street and in the 100 block of Race Street, the latter with a warning given.

A verbal domestic disturbance in the 200 block of Wood Street was addressed.

Police assisted South Whitehall officers at South Cedar Crest and Hamilton boulevards.

A security check was conducted in the 500 block of St. John Street.
