Long’s EcoWater Systems to have groundbreaking for new facility

Long’s EcoWater Systems Inc. has announced the official groundbreaking for its new facility will take place 8 a.m. June 8.

The new facility will be located at 1567 Hausman Road, South Whitehall, near the intersection of Route 309 and Walbert Avenue, just two

miles south of their current Orefield location, also in South Whitehall Township.

Jerdon Construction is contracted to manage the build.

The 5,600-square-foot building will include a modern office space, showroom and warehouse under one roof.

The team at Long’s EcoWater Systems looks forward to better serving customers from the new space, which will offer easier entrance and exit, ADA access, a functional showroom, easy-to-access products and more.

Speaking about the event, Jim Carroll and Scott Warrick, owners, shared: “This groundbreaking marks the beginning of a new chapter for our business as our team continues to serve the community by taking care of their water needs.”

Founded in 1925, EcoWater Systems is the oldest and largest water manufacturer of water treatment equipment in the world. The Long’s EcoWater Systems dealership has been locally owned and operated in South Whitehall since 1949.

Carroll and Warrick purchased the business in 1998.
