Weisenberg Hilltoppers defend three-peat title

Special to The Press

The 2021 Lehigh Valley Church Softball League Champs, the Hilltoppers, with all players being members of Weisenberg Lutheran Church, New Tripoli, defended their three-peat title.

Their regular season record was 22 wins, two losses and they swept all three playoff games.

They made history clinching the 2021 title as they are the first in this league to repeat as champions three years in a row; 2018, 2019, (2020 no season due to COVID-19), and 2021.

The 2022 Lehigh Valley Church Softball League season is now underway.

There are 16 teams competing with each other while they and their fans experience fellowship and competition, playing each other twice before entering the play-offs in August.

The Lehigh Valley Church Softball League is a co-ed multidenominational slow pitch softball league in eastern Pennsylvania that brings churches together through organized softball.
