Allentown Central Catholic High School is proud to announce and congratulate Ben Scandone, our Class of 2022 Valedictorian. Ben is an alumni of St. Joseph the Worker and St. Thomas More schools.

Andrew LaRock is our Class of 2022 Salutatorian. Andrew is an alumni of St. Joseph the Worker School.

Our ACCHS Envirothon Team finished in a respectable fifth place this year. It was the first time in 10 years ACCHS attended the competition involving local schools on the topic of environmental science.

Organized by the Lehigh County Conservation District at the regional level, the school team placing first moves on to compete at the state level. Keep working hard, Vikes.

A huge thanks to our freshman class student council members who hosted our Future Viking and Vikette semiformal dance. Our Class of 2025 did an awesome job getting our partner schools students out on the dance floor.

Our ACCHS Internat Club visited the Hershey Museum where the students learned about the life of Milton Hershey, one of the most famous German American entrepreneurs of the 20th century. They also learned about the process of making chocolate and were able to make their own chocolate bars. They had a delicious lunch at the Chocolatier Restaurant, followed by a trolley tour of the city of Hershey. They saw many sites including the original location of the Hershey factory and Milton Hershey’s mansion. They finished the day visiting Chocolate World.

Our students participated in a Marian Retreat at The National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown. The shrine, dedicated to the Blessed Mother – in Her title of Our Lady of Czestochowa, was established in 1955. It is a place of pilgrimage not just for the Polish American community but for all different nationalities. It is a place where everyone can find quietness, peace and refuge from our busy world.
