Robert C. Schmeltzle Sr., 85, of Zionsville, died April 22, 2022, at home. He was the husband of the late Darlene J. (Heil) Schmeltzle. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Henry and Sallie (Miller) Schmeltzle.

Before retiring, he worked for over 40 years for Upper Milford Township including as the township supervisor.

He was a member of Old Zionsville U.C.C.

He was a life member of Upper Milford Western District Fire Company.

He is survived by sons, Robert C. Jr. and his companion, Carolyn Rhoads, Randy A. and his wife, Elizabeth; a sister, Mary Jane Rodenbach; grandchildren, Audrey Parenti, Cody and his wife, Paige, Austin, Gabriel, Erica, Caleb, Ethan and Anneliese; great-granddaughter, Aspen. He was predeceased by a brother, Paul and sisters, Minnie Anne Geist and Pauline Koach.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. April 27 in Old Zionsville U.C.C., 5981 Fountain Road, Old Zionsville. A calling hour will be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. April 27 in the church. Arrangements were made by the Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville.
