Leslie C. Barber, 90, formerly of Allentown, died April 22, 2022, in Heather Glen Senior Living. He was the husband of Ruth A. (Wasser) Barber. They would have been married for 70 years this October. Born in Joliet, Ill., he was a son of the late Eben J. and Ruth L. (Anderson) Barber.
He was a graduate of Allentown High School.
He was a purchasing agent for Caloric of Topton for many years, retiring in 1990.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War.
He was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, where he served as the church treasurer for over 40 years.
He was a member of American Legion Post #576.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Deborah A. and her husband, James V. Smith, Linda L. and her husband, Mark N. Held, all of Allentown; sons, Robert J. and his wife, Cecily S., of Fayetteville, Thomas A. and his wife, Julie K., of West Chester, Ohio; a brother, Kenneth B. and his wife, Patricia E., of Middletown, N.J.; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Services will be held 11 a.m. April 28 in Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, 3441 Devonshire Road, Allentown. Call 10 to 11 a.m. April 28 in the church. Arrangements were made by the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., Allentown.
