Raymond Ace Schaffer, 71, of Salisbury Township, died April 5, 2022, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of the late Rita Ann (Clader) Schaffer, who died in 2009. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Ralph L. and Carolyn M. (Dunkle) Schaffer.

He was a graduate of Salisbury High School.

He was an iron worker for the former Local 36 for many years until retiring.

He was a member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Eastern Salisbury.

He was a member of the Salisbury Fire Company, the Fearless Fire Company and VFW Post 2124 in Allentown.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching NASCAR.

He is survived by a daughter, Crystal L. and her companion, Jeremy Gauselmann, of Salisbury Township; a son, Ryan P., of Alburtis; a brother, Ralph L. Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Wescosville.
