John E. Teats Jr., 80, of Macungie, died March 14, 2022, at home. He was the husband of Diane E. (Seibert) Teats. They were married for over 56 years. Born in Clearfield, he was the son of the late John E. Sr. and Margaret (Burfield) Teats.

He worked at Tyler Pipe Industries for over 32 years, retiring in 2000.

He was a member of Solomon’s U.C.C., Macungie.

He was a Navy veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.

He will be remembered for his love of camping, golfing, hunting, fishing and mostly the love he had for his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Eric J. and his wife, Hattie, of Orefield; a daughter, Kimberly K. and her husband, John Krafczyk, of Breinigsville; grandchildren, Logen, Morgan and Madison. He was predeceased by a brother, LeRoy and sisters, Jane, Louise, Phyllis and Emily.
