Glen H. Lauer, 63, of Emmaus, died in his home Feb. 20, 2022. He was the companion of Janet Hangen for 22 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Jeanette A. (Trexler) Lauer and the late Webster G. Lauer.

He was employed as a forklift operator at Sam Adams Brewery.

He was an active member of the Emmaus Fire Department and was the former deputy chief for 40 years until retiring.

He was an avid sportsman, hunted bear and enjoyed puzzle making.

He is survived by his companion and her son, John; mother; sisters, Karen Roediger (Robert) and Cindy Roche (Edward); brother, Douglas; nieces and nephews.
