Catherine Amant, 73, of Lower Macungie Township, died March 2, 2022, surrounded by the warmth of her husband and family at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of Joseph Amant. They celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary. Raised in Jim Thorpe, she was a daughter of the late John and Gwen (Hill) Gillespie.

She was a 1966 graduate of Marian Catholic High School. Prior to retiring, she was a Realtor and taught realty for several years and was president of Lehigh Valley Association of Realtors in 2010.

She was of the Catholic faith, a loving mother and grandmother and devoted her life to her family.

She is survived by her husband; sons, William (Kristen), Michael (Natasha), Brian (Danika); grandsons, Tristan, Coty, Tyler, Connor, Braylen; brothers, Gerald, Steven, Michael; sister, Jean Hinton. She was predeceased by brothers, Rich and John.
