Leon C. Lichtenwalner, 85, of Emmaus, died Nov. 24, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Jane M. (Miller) Lichtenwalner for 46 years. Born in Upper Macungie Township, he was the son of the late Carl T. and Helen M. (Litzenberger) Lichtenwalner.
He was employed as a farm laborer at Seiple Farms in Northampton County before retiring. Prior, he was a groundskeeper at Lafayette College and Cedar Crest College. In 1953 his working career began on his family farm on Brookside Road in Macungie. He also dug graves and foundations at Greenwood Cemetery, Allentown.
He was a member of Living Stone Fellowship, New Tripoli.
He was a past president of Allentown Crime Watch and Salvation Army, Allentown.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Noel C., of Fogelsville; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Doris J. Marsteller and Carol Ann.
