LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Come one, come all to the tree lighting at Ontelaunee Park

BY BERNADETTE SUKLEY

Special to The Press

Despite the best technology, winter weather predictions can be way off.

Every year we get a storm that catches us by surprise. This winter, let’s get prepared. Have snow shovels or snowblowers, salt and candles handy. If you have a generator, make sure it’s ready to go.

For your car, pack water bottles, kitty litter and a phone charger, snacks and little games for the kids.

Check on your neighbors when the power goes out.
