Coplay Saengerbund is holding a holiday filling sale through the end of the year. Preorders are not necessary. Just stop by 205 S. Fifth St. to purchase Elsie’s famous filling.

The Sunday polkas continue with Emil Schanta scheduled to perform 3 p.m. Nov. 21.

Other upcoming entertainment includes Breeze Dec. 4 and Uncle Smiley Duo Jan. 4, 2022.

The 55th annual Coplay community ecumenical Thanksgiving service for the three Coplay churches will be held 7 p.m. Nov. 21 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St.

Coplay public works will be closed Nov. 25 and 26.

There will be no yard waste pickup Nov. 26. Grass and leaves will now go out with your trash.

Grass collection has been suspended until the spring of 2022.

The borough’s tree-lighting event is set for Dec. 2 at the municipal building, 98 S. Fourth St. Festivities will begin 6:30 p.m.

Entertainment will feature Lori and James.

Hot chocolate and doughnuts will be provided, and goody bags will be given to all children in attendance.
