Jerome A. Miller

Jerome A. “Jerry” Miller, 81, of Lower Macungie Township, died Oct. 4, 2021, under hospice care in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus. He was the husband of Josephine M. (Fasesky) Miller. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in September. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Roy and Mary (Cressman) Miller.

He was a graduate of Fountain Hill High School and received an associate degree from Penn State.

He was a specialist (E5) with the U.S. Army Security Agency.

He was a senior buyer for Mack Trucks for over 30 years, retiring in 2000.

He was a former disc jockey on WHOL and did stand-up comedy for many years.

He helped his parents in their business, “Miller’s Hobby Shop,” in South Allentown.

He enjoyed music, especially playing the drums, photography, hiking, bike riding and traveling. He also enjoyed history and was a Civil War buff.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Jerome A. Jr., of New York, N.Y.; a daughter, Debora A. Delong, of Lower Macungie Township; grandsons, Tyler Delong and Christopher Kline, both of California; a brother, Roy W., of Allentown.
