Emmaus says farewell to summer with a festival

To help people get exposure to the local businesses in Emmaus, a Scarecrow Trail was available. Families picked up passports at the information tent, took their passport around to the businesses listed and received a stamp from each scarecrow at the business. This scarecrow greets everyone visiting the Emmaus Jewel Shop Sept. 18.
Activities for kids are hosted by Active Learning Centers and Lehigh Valley Martial Arts at the Farewell to Summer Festival in Emmaus Sept. 18.
