Forrest C. Laudenslager

Forrest C. Laudenslager, 82, of New Tripoli, died on Sept. 1, 2021, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He and his wife, Nancy M. (Weida) Laudenslager, were married 62 years last month.

He was the son of the late Luther R. and Annie Mae (Balliet) Laudenslager.

A farmer in Weisenberg Township from 1960-83, he was an auctioneer for 43 years with various companies.

He and his wife were members of Jerusalem “Red” Church, Kempton.

He was a life member of many fire companies in the area, including the New Tripoli Fire Company, where he volunteered for 58 years, and Slatington Lodge 440 F.&A.M.

In addition, he was a member of the Lehigh County Historical Society, a life member of the Lynn and Heidelberg Township Historical Society and the Weisenberg Lowhill Township Historical Society, a life member of the Kutztown Pa. German Heritage Center and the former state vice president of Future Farmers of America.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Donna Wolfe (Michael) of New Tripoli and Ann Redline (Donald) of Germansville; sister Anna Mae George of Schnecksville; granddaughter Stephanie Wolfe; step-granddaughter, Tara Deuber; step-great-grandchildren Jared and Lillian; and a niece and a nephew.

He was predeceased by a brother, Robert.
