HEIDELBERG TOWNSHIP: NIGHT IN THE COUNTRY ON SATURDAY

Don’t miss it! On Aug. 21, the “Night in the Country” celebration will take place from 4-10 p.m. at the Northwestern Recreation Commission Community Park, Route 309 and Northwest Road. Rain date is Aug. 22.

In addition to spectacular fireworks, there will be a live country band, car cruise, Chinese auction, bingo, etc., plus a wide variety of food and fun activities for all to enjoy.

Spread the word! Heidelberg Union Church will present an outdoor worship service 7 p.m. Aug. 25.

Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided on the front porch followed by a worship service in the church parking lot.

All are welcome to come out and enjoy food and fellowship. Remember to dress casually and bring a lawn chair.

Plan ahead! Heidelberg Association for Retired Persons, better known as H.A.R.P., will get together 11 a.m. on Sept. 7 in Heidelberg Church’s Fellowship Hall.

Do you feel off balance? Transform Rehabilitation, New Tripoli, will present the solution to avoid falling.

Following this very informative program, H.A.R.P. will have its covered dish luncheon.

Bring a covered dish to share and learn good solutions to seniors every day problems.

Hoot and holler! Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club, New Tripoli, welcomes everyone to its annual club picnic noon to 4 p.m. Sept. 11.

This fun, family event will take place rain or shine. All shooting ranges will be closed during this time.

In addition to great music, there will be tons of delicious food, fun and raffles for the entire family to enjoy.
