Fullerton: Senior center to mark 4 years

Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., is celebrating its fourth anniversary, as well as the grand reopening, 2-4 p.m. July 11.

This event will be held rain or shine in both the indoor building and outdoor pavilion. Refreshments will be served.

Come out and see all of the exciting activities resuming at the senior center.

Some events include daily lunches, exercise classes and bingo on Thursdays and the fourth Sunday of the month. For lunches, reserve at least one day in advance.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church is planning a drive-thru chicken dinner 4-5:30 p.m. July 21.

The meal includes half of a chicken, corn on the cob, baked potato, coleslaw, roll with butter and dessert. This meal is prepared by Fairview House Catering.

If you would like an order form, email dirreled@sercc.org or call 610-349-7791 or check the parish website at sercc.org.

Pickup is in the church parking lot at 435 Pershing Blvd. Your dinner will be handed directly to you. Only 200 meals will be sold.

Drop off or mail orders to the church in an envelope marked “chicken dinner.”

All orders are due by July 12.

St. Elizabeth’s welcomes back Father Stan Moczydlowski as the new pastor of the church.

The fundraising committee at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., is having a Joe Corbi’s/Claire’s Gourmet sale.

Delivery and pickup will be July 16.

When placing your orders, include a check made payable to St. John’s UCC. Send your completed order and payment to the church office, attention: Tracey Glass.

St. John’s UCC has Weis and Giant grocery gift cards available for purchase in various denominations.

The church receives a percentage of each one you purchase.
