Thomas G. Piskula

Thomas G. Piskula, 84, of Fullerton, died June 16, 2021, in St. Luke’s Hospital Sacred Heart campus, Allentown. He was the husband of Marilyn J. (Bonser) Piskula for 62 years.

Born in Fullerton, he was a son of the late John and Anna Piskula.

He was a delivery driver at H. Leh & Co. for many years until he retired. Later, he was a deliveryman for the former Dick’s Florist in Fullerton, a repairman at Harold’s RV Center and the sexton at Fullerton Fire Company No. 1.

Known as “Community Tom,” he was dedicated to the Whitehall Township Fire Department for 55 years. He was a founding member of the Fullerton Lions Ambulance Corps. He was a life member and firefighter for Station 36, Fullerton, and was most recently a fire policeman for many years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Charlene Piskula and Connie Markulics and her husband Craig; two sons, Michael and his wife Donna and Jonathan; and three grandchildren, Kyle, Holley and Erin.

He was predeceased by two brothers, John and Richard Piskula.

There will be graveside services 10:30 a.m. June 25 in Gnaden Huetten Cemetery, 440 S. Fourth St., Lehighton, 18235; followed by a celebration of life and a luncheon noon in Fullerton Fire Company, 851 Second St., Whitehall.
