James M. Schall, 80, of Northampton, died May 28, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Russell S. and Marian L. (Miller) Schall.

He was in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era, achieved rank of SP5 and served with the 3rd armored division.

He was a material handler/forklift operator by the International Webbing Company, Whitehall Township.

He was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity, Northampton.

He was a member of the Allentown Municipal Band since 1956 and played the flute, clarinet and the saxophone.

He is survived by cousins; and friends.
