1803 House membership opportunity

The Friends of the 1803 House invites you to become a member.

The Pennsylvania German fieldstone farmhouse is located at 55 S. Keystone Avenue. It was acquired in 1975 as a gift from the Rodale Company. The history of the house is connected to the history of the founding of Emmaus.

The Friends of the 1803 House have restored the house and restoration continues to advance. Through archaeology, genealogy, history research and education, knowledge of the community is expanded such as how it started, how it grew and how it is the community it is today.

Friends of the 1803 House believe in its mission, experience the sense of community, learn about Emmaus history, are interested in preserving the history of Emmaus and want to expand their knowledge of the development of the Emmaus community.

Each membership helps fulfill the mission of the 1803 House. Visit them on Facebook, visit their website 1803House.org or visit the house for a tour. Volunteers love to tell the story of Emmaus and its development as a community.
