PRIMARY ELECTION 2021

Election Day is May 18. Here are the races and candidates voters will see on the ballot.

NORTHAMPTON COUNTY

Executive: Democratic incumbent Lamont G. McClure is facing Republican challenger Steve Lynch. This is a four-year term. Voters will choose one.

Council: Democrats Lori Vargo Heffner, Tara Zrinski, Ronald R. Heckman, William McGee and Patti Bruno and Republicans Scott J. Hough, Nicole Romanishan, Kristin Lorah Soldridge, John P. Goffredo and Annamarie T. Robertone are seeking at-large seats. The term is four years. Voters will choose five.

MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT JUDGE

District 03-3-01: Melissa Gogel and incumbent Robert A. Hawke are both cross-filed in this race for a six-year term. Voters will choose one.

NORTHAMPTON AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF EDUCATION

Region 1: Incumbent Roy Maranki is cross-filed for the seat. He faces Republican challenger Douglas Vaughn. Voters will choose one.

Region 2: Incumbents Ross Makary and Chuck Frantz are vying for the two available seats. Makary is cross-filed. Frantz is a Democrat. Voters will choose two.

Region 3: No candidates are listed.

ALLEN TOWNSHIP

Board of supervisors: There are no names listed on the ballot.

Auditor: There are no names listed on the ballot.

Tax collector: Democrat Carolyn L.S. Davis is seeking this four-year term.

Constable: Republican Brad Cassel faces no opposition for this six-year term.

Judge of election, North: There is no candidate on the ballot.

Inspector of election, North: Democrat Helen Seier and Republican Sandra A. Lewellin are seeking this four-year term. Voters will choose one.

Judge of election, South: Republican Sandra Pizzolatto is the sole candidate on the ballot for this four-year term.

Inspector of election, South: There is no candidate on the ballot.

BATH BOROUGH

Mayor: Republican incumbent Fiorella R. Mirabito is unchallenged for another four-year term.

Council: Incumbent Michele Ehrgott is seeking this four-year term.

Constable: Republican Robert Garis is the sole candidate on the ballot for this six-year term.

EAST ALLEN TOWNSHIP

Board of supervisors: Republican incumbent Roger C. Unangst faces no opposition for this six-year term.

Auditor: Republican John Bressler is the candidate on the ballot for the two-year term.

Tax collector: Republican Joy Hemming is seeking this four-year term.

Judge of election, Western: Republican Norm Daniel is a candidate for this four-year term.

Inspector of election, Western: Democrat Laurel Ardle is a candidate for this four-year term.

LEHIGH TOWNSHIP

Tax collector: Democrat Mary Louise Trexler and Republican Thyler Hantz are seeking this position, a four-year term.

Constable: Republican David Sheats is the sole candidate for this six-year term.

Judge of election, Pennsville District: Republican candidate Kyle Horwith is on the ballot for this four-year term.

Judge of election, Treichlers District: Democrat Karen E. Zimmerman is seeking this four-term.

MOORE TOWNSHIP

Tax collector: Republican Autumn H. Silfies is the sole candidate for this four-year term.

Judge of election, Beersville: Republican James R. Becker is unopposed for this position, a four-year term.

Inspector of election, Beersville: Democrat Duane Frey and Republican David S. Frey are seeking this four-year term. Voters will choose one.

Judge of election, Point Phillips: Republican Kanda M. Lesperance is unopposed for this four-year term.

Council, Fourth Ward: Democratic incumbent Anthony S. Lopsonzski Jr. is seeking another four-year term.
