There are three Republicans seeking one six-year term on the North Whitehall Board of Supervisors.

The Lehigh Valley Press asked the candidates the following question:

“What issue in your township is the most important?”

The issue I have heard while campaigning door to door is development and vehicle traffic. The two go together hand and hand, as the new warehouses near completion people are concerned about additional truck traffic on Route 309.

I will work to get funding for road improvements on Route 309 south of Shankweiler Road and a total redesign of the intersection at Neffs church.

North Whitehall Township does not have the road network to handle truck traffic from million square foot warehouses and I will not approve a new warehouse unless the road network is improved to handle these large trucks.
