A COVID-19 vaccine clinic is being offered from 1-3 p.m. May 2 at the New Tripoli Fire Company.

“We will be hosting the drive-through COVID-19 vaccine clinic in an effort to improve the safety of our community,” said Fire Chief Gary Kuntz.

Those seeking the vaccine will be able to get the Moderna shot without even getting out of their car.

“Attendees will be able to stay in their vehicle throughout the entire process,” explained Kuntz. “The entry route will be on Market Street, not Decatur Street.”

“Anyone interested can simply click on ‘attending’ on our Facebook page,” he added.

The New Tripoli Fire Company is partnering with Yocum’s Pharmacy and the Cetronia Ambulance Corps for the clinic. Cetronia EMS will have a unit on site at this event.

According to Kuntz, the free clinic is open to anyone age 18 and older.

The second shot will be administered 1-3 p.m. May 30.

If attendees cannot make the second shot on that day, they have a three-week window to get it.

They can get the second shot at Yocum’s Pharmacy if desired by going to the Yocum’s 2 Pharmacy Facebook page.

The event is consistent with expanded efforts across the country.
