As part of their efforts to be knights of the blind and the hearing impaired, members of the Whitehall Lions Club recently collected more than 2,000 used eyeglasses and hearing aids donated by community members.

These devices will be salvaged and used to aid underserved and less fortunate persons needing vision and hearing care.

Look for the Lions donation receptacle boxes at local retail outlets, medical care facilities and pharmacies or email whitehall.lionsclub.lv@gmail.com for specific locations and more information as to how you can help in this effort.
