To the Editor:
Passion drives leaders to a cause, and values are their moral compass that keeps them grounded and on course.
That passion I see in Monica inspired me to write this letter.
Monica has been a driving force in South Whitehall for well over three years as an unelected public servant.
She has attended almost every township meeting, researched many issues, brought facts to the light of day and provided a “voice of the people” on behalf of many of us because she believes in us and the township.
Thank you, Monica for what you have given of yourself already.
With this past record of service, it is easy to see that Monica will bring high character and endless energy to the office of commissioner, and I know Monica will:
•Treat us all with uncompromising truth and transparency.
•Honor the life’s work of everyone and advocate for their safety and wellbeing.
•Listen with empathy to her constituents and earn their trust.
•Be receptive to new ideas and always be prepared to do her job.
•Honor the interests of others and give credit where it is due.
•Follow the laws that govern our township and society.
•Mentor others unselfishly with firm resolve and a gentle touch.
I know this because I have seen Monica in action, and can promise you that she lives these values in everything she does in our community ... with your best interest as her guiding light.
This is the person I want in the commissioner’s chair when difficult decision must be made.
Vote for Monica.
