Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, conferred academic degrees on 497 students at the close of its 162nd academic year on May 13.

The ceremony was broadcast to participants in a virtual format to ensure social distancing guidelines.

Students on the list included:

Allentown: Liam Gallagher, magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in economics, and Joseph Harps, magna cum laude and departmental honors with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design. Both Gallagher and Harps graduated from Parkland High School.

Breinigsville: Franz Smith, Bachelor of Arts in communications. Smith graduated from Northwestern Lehigh High School.
