L.V. Zoo visitors learn importance of farming

BY LOU WHEELAND

Special to The Press

A celebration of farming was held at the Lehigh Valley Zoo on Oct. 3.

Visitors to the Zoo were reminded of the importance of farming throughout the Lehigh Valley and the country as a whole.

The day was a good opportunity to meet many of the Zoo’s farm animals up close and personal.

Visitors who live in one of the Valley cities were able to connect with animals they would not normally encounter in their home environment.
