Pastor Adam Kern reports a workout Bible study, Faithfully Fit, has begun at the Vine Church in the Agape New Testament Fellowship building, Route 873, Schnecksville.

Led by Colette Kern, the program runs from 9:30-11 a.m. Saturdays until Christmas.

The sessions begin with a half-hour workout, followed by a Biblical teaching video.

The remainder of the time includes small group discussions and prayer.

People are invited to stop by whenever they choose.

Starting 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 22, Pastor Kern will be conducting a weekly verse-by-verse study of the book of Genesis.

The Vine and Agape members meet together for worship 10 a.m. Sunday.

“This is a perfect marriage between the two churches,” Pastor Kern said. “It is working out really great.”

The two groups came together when the Vine was looking for a meeting place and Agape was without a pastor.

Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, will have its final outdoor worship service in the grove at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 25. Holy Communion will be offered that day.

Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, maintains a strong commitment to music in its worship experiences while keeping the safety of performers and the congregation paramount.

Although larger groups are not meeting, smaller ensembles are providing music for the virtual services.

The Glory Ringers (bells) are rehearsing with masks and social distancing, and the Praise Music Team is practicing outdoors.

Various vocal and instrumental soloists are providing music, although wind instruments are not allowed due to COVID-19 precautions.

St. John’s United Church of Christ, Laurys Station is having Sunday worship services indoors 10:15 a.m. following protocols for social distancing, facial coverings and hand sanitizing.
