DUI

Jonathan Tyler Gehris, 24, of Allentown, allegedly was driving under the influence in a traffic accident in the 800 block of East Emmaus Avenue, Aug. 27, according to Salisbury police. Gehris was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Shots fired

Salisbury police responded to the 1300 block of Garden Avenue for shots fired Aug. 23. Officers checked the area but found nothing.

Salisbury police responded to the area of KidsPeace, 1250 Broadway, for shots fired Sept. 1. Officers checked the area but found no one in the area and did not hear additional shots or fireworks.

Theft

A black Tony Hawk BMX bicycle was removed from a bike rack at Lindberg Park, 2800 Lindberg Ave., according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Aug. 31. The bike is valued at $150.

Tools were removed from a garage in the 800 block of East Lexington Street, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Aug. 28.

Theft from vehicle

A backpack containing various items valued at $50 was removed from a vehicle parked in a driveway in the 1500 block of Tweed Avenue, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Sept. 2.

Fraud

A resident of the 1200 block of Vermont Avenue reported the transfer of $496 from his bank account to the account of another person, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Sept. 2.

Assists

Salisbury police assisted the Eastern Salisbury Fire Department at a dwelling fire in the 1500 block of Paxford Road Sept. 4.

Salisbury police assisted the Western Salisbury Volunteer Fire Company with a fire alarm in the 1000 block of Buckingham Drive, Aug. 27.

Possession

A 49-year-old male, of Allentown, allegedly was in possession of a controlled substance in an incident Aug. 31 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest Boulevard, according to Salisbury police.

Warrants

A 23-year-old male, of Hazleton, was picked up Aug. 25 by Salisbury police on a warrant issued by Hazleton police. The male was taken to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

A 34-year-old female, of Hellertown, was picked up Aug. 27 by Salisbury police on a warrant issued by Hellertown police. The female was taken to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

A 39-year-old male, of Emmaus, was picked up Aug. 29 by Salisbury police on a warrant issued by Salisbury police. The male was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

A 49-year-old female, of Hamburg, was picked up Aug. 31 by Salisbury police on a warrant issued by the Berks County Sheriff’s office. The female was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

A 32-year-old male, of Nesquehoning, was picked up Sept. 4 by Salisbury police on several warrants issued by Carbon and Luzerne county authorities. He was transported to the Lehigh County Booking Center.
