Coplay Borough Council has canceled the borough’s official trick-or-treat night the last Friday in October due to COVID-19.

However, several families have already reported they will still be dressing their children in costume and going out for candy. Others in the neighborhood have said they will keep their porch lights on for those traveling around.

The borough gym will remain closed until the end of December.

There will be no basketball practices or games permitted, which includes Coplay Sports Inc. activities. There is no report yet on where Coplay Sports will hold its basketball program.
