Ody Drakiellis appointed to the Upper Milford Township pension committee

With two supervisors meeting in person and the third participating via teleconferencing, Upper Milford Township supervisors met Sept. 3 in a short session to pay bills and to appoint Ody Drakiellis to the pension committee.

Drakiellis will fill the chair vacated by Dale Dries.

Township Manager Bud Carter advised, in a memorandum, the minimum municipal obligations Upper Milford Township has for the benefit plan and for the defined contribution plan.

Both plans are related to pensions for Upper Milford Township employees.

Supervisors acknowledged zoning amendments enacted by Emmaus borough and by Lower Macungie Township.

In other business, supervisors also approved a lot line adjustment for a boundary between properties owned by Scott and Patricia Davis and Lowell and Gail Linde.

Upper Milford Township Secretary/Treasurer Jessi O’Donald said in an interview the township staff is working to improve the quality of audio during Zoom calls with the board of supervisors.
